- Structure of ultraviolet sterilizer
(1) Each unit of this equipment contains ultraviolet lamp, casing, 304 stainless steel reactor and electronic control cabinet. Electronic ballasts are individually encapsulated in the electronic control cabinet, the electronic control cabinet contains power supply instructions, fault lights, time totalizer.
(2) Each UV lamp is individually placed in a separate quartz casing, one end of the casing for the closed end, the other end of the lamp sealing structure (rubber mechanical sealing structure) sealing.
(3) The quartz casing is fixed on the frame by the UV-resistant material nut and tightly pressed O-ring, and the rear part is sealed by the top, so as to avoid any steel contact between the quartz casing and the reactor, and to prevent the quartz casing from being broken by vibration.
(4) Both ends of the quartz casing do not extend out of the steel structure on either side of the UV lamp reactor, which ensures the safety of the quartz casing.
(5) The cables connecting the lamps are terminated in the ballast cabinet above the reactor with a protection level of not less than IP65 without water seepage.
(6)The whole reactor is made of 304 stainless steel and mounted on the ground, with ground screw openings on the reactor stand and fixed to the ground with ground screws.
(7)This UV lamp assembly is designed from the factory operator’s convenience to replace the lamp and quartz casing, operation and installation as well as easy maintenance.
(8)Stainless steel sensor with a sight glass above, to observe the equipment operating status can prevent UV radiation damage.
(9) Each lamp is individually set up so that when replacing lamps or quartz sleeves, each lamp can be removed separately without affecting other lamps.
2、Ultraviolet lamp
(1) UV lamp type: low-pressure, high-intensity, solid mercury alloy lamps, lamps can be preheated to explore the life of the lamp.
(2) UV lamp warranty life ≥ 9,000 hours. Lamp life depends on the system conditions of use, I issued the main lamp life warranty.
(3) UV lamps using 253.7nm low-pressure, high-intensity low-pressure UV lamps, less stray waves, low energy consumption, the power of each new lamp is 120W (including ballasts and other ancillary electrical equipment power consumption). The filament of the lamp adopts clip design, and its unique curling type can prevent shock.
(4)The circuit connection part is only at one end of the lamp, which is convenient for replacement.
(5)Each connection has four plug points to ensure anti-leakage and short circuit between wires.
(6)The lamp is a zero ozone UV lamp.
3、Quartz casing
(1) Material: quartz 214
(2) The open end of quartz casing is sealed by UV resistant material nut, steel sleeve and tight O-ring.
(3) The quartz casing is a straight pipe with a single-end opening. The single-end opening reduces the sealing points, reduces the chance of water permeability and improves the safety of the system. In addition, the sealing design is double sealing to ensure the reliability of the system.
(4) The quartz casing wall thickness is 1.5mm.
(5)When replacing the casing or lamp, unscrew the casing nut and seal, and gently remove the casing.
(6) The quartz sleeve nut has a knurled surface for hand-holding during fastening, and no tools are required to install or remove the nut. The lamp is loaded and unloaded from the open end of the quartz sleeve;
(7) The lamp is held in place by a PVC molded lamp holder with a double seal, designed to avoid contact between the quartz sleeve and the steel tube;
(8) The quartz casing has a light transmission of greater than 90% and will not deteriorate due to this UV system.
(9) The quartz casing is open at one end and dome-shaped natural closed end at the other end.
(10)Maximum operating pressure: not more than 2 bar.
4、Ballast and cabinet
(1) The ballast provided with this equipment adopts German technology.
(2) The microprocessor inside the electronic ballast can adjust the output power of the ballast (50-100%) according to the control signal of the external sterilization management system, and output the UV light with the intensity that is proportional to the input control signal, so that the amount of UV light can be adjusted linearly and steplessly within the range of 50% to 100% by itself, and it can realize the adjustment of the power of the UV lamp supply in order to maintain the sufficient intensity of the sterilization capacity and the most suitable power consumption. (3) The ballast is designed as a high power factor electronic ballast controlled by a microcomputer processor, with a power factor of not less than 98%.
(4) The ballast cabinet is made of stainless steel, protection level: not less than IP54.
(5) Maximum ambient temperature: 50℃, the ballast does not need external exhaust cooling.
(6)In case of any UV lamp failure, the electronic ballast will restart twice by itself.
(7) Electronic ballasts are controlled by a microprocessor. Each electronic ballast controls one UV lamp independently, providing the working condition of each UV lamp and delivering the information to the control system’s data acquisition circuit board.

(9) Lamp and ballast indirect wires are tested before leaving the factory.
