Project Overview:

Peru Ice Cream Company is one of the largest modern manufacturers of ice cream and frozen desserts in the country. The company’s equipment performance and production processes are at the forefront of the domestic industry. In 2023, to support new product research and development, the company needed to purchase a high-quality reverse osmosis(RO) water purification system. The reverse osmosis (RO)technology is used to remove impurities, bacterias, minerals, and harmful substances from the water, purifying the production water for dissolving and blending ingredients such as syrup and milk powder. This helps prevent poor water quality from affecting the solubility and taste of raw materials.

Since the implementation of this water treatment system in 2023, the quality of the production water has significantly improved, effectively ensuring the high quality of the company’s premium frozen food products. This has allowed the company to achieve differentiated competition within the industry. Además, through research and the reasonable reuse of RO concentrate water, the company has achieved energy savings, reduced emissions, and significantly improved economic efficiency. Customers are highly satisfied with the results.

Treatment Process:

Multi-media filtration + Activated carbon filtration + Single-stage RO filtration + RO concentrate recovery + Softener

Project Features:
The purified water produced by the equipment ,It is used for production and ingredient mixing. The generated concentrate is collected in a concentrate storage tank. A portion of this concentrate is treated by the softener and then used as makeup water for the low-pressure boilers in the factory. Another portion is used for daily floor cleaning in the workshop. This process effectively addresses the issue of low reverse osmosis recovery rates, achieving a comprehensive water resource utilization rate of over 90%.

All equipment, piping, fittings, and related tank accessories are made of 304 acero inoxidable de grado alimenticio, meeting the requirements of the food and beverage industry. This design ensures both high water quality and compliance with industry standards.
