String Wound Filter Cartridges are deep filtration elements made by precisely winding textile fibers (such as polypropylene, cotton, or fiberglass) into a cylindrical form. Their unique wound structure provides efficient filtration performance and high dirt-holding capacity, making them widely used in water treatment, food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, and electronics industries.

The wound filter cartridge is made by tightly and orderly winding high-efficiency textile fibers around a PP or stainless steel core. The winding core is primarily made of materials such as fiberglass, polypropylene yarn, and cotton yarn. The filtration layer of the wound filter cartridge is designed to be loose on the outside and dense on the inside. By controlling the tightness and density of the winding core, the filtration performance is regulated. Wound filter cartridges are widely used in the filtration industry.
